Your Weekend Schedule

Where practice, teaching, and confidence come together — fast.

Friday

4pm–9pm
Arrival + Immediate Practice

Check-in opens at 4pm, and practice begins at 5pm. There are no lectures or introductions — you go straight into the sequence. You’ll learn the foundational cueing and be teaching your first movements by 7pm.

Saturday

9am–6pm
Teaching Immersion

Across the day you’ll break down every section of the sequence and teach each part multiple times. You’ll build your voice, confidence and flow, and by Saturday night you’ll be able to teach around 70% of the full class.

Sunday

9am–6pm
Mastery + Assessment

On Sunday you’ll learn Warrior 3 and grounding, run full sequence rehearsals, and teach an entire 45-minute class. The weekend wraps with your certification and a celebration.

Why This Training Works

The yoga world loves numbers — 200 hours, 350 hours, 500 hours.
But hours don’t create great teachers. Experience does.

Confidence comes from doing — practising, observing, adapting, and finding your own voice.

It’s never about the hours.
It’s about the person.

This training gives you the spark: your first real teaching experience, your first wave of confidence, and the momentum to grow in any direction you choose.

What You’ll Learn

The Full Thrive Flow Sequence

You’ll learn the entire Thrive Flow class structure, including seated grounding, supine warmups, standing transitions, sunrise flow, warrior sequences, skandasana flow, Warrior 3 variations, and final grounding into Savasana.

Simple, Effective Cueing

You’ll be trained in our cueing method — using verbs, direction, body part, breath and clear timing. Through repetition, this cueing style becomes second nature and creates a calm, confident teaching rhythm.

Leading Beginners Safely

You’ll learn how to make poses accessible, adjust for real bodies, give clear, steady instructions, and create a warm, welcoming class environment. This is the foundation of great teaching: guiding, not performing.

Frequently Asked Questions

What certification will I receive?

You’ll graduate with the ThriveFlow Teacher Certification — Level 1. ThriveFlow is a safe, accessible movement method and is not accredited with any yoga bodies, which is why we align with insurers who cover functional movement and flow-based practices.

With your Level 1 Certification, you’ll be able to obtain public liability and professional indemnity insurance through a movement-based insurance provider of your choice. Recommended insurance options will be provided during or after your training.

Where can I teach after completing the course?

Let’s be honest — this is a weekend course designed to help you confidently teach a set ThriveFlow sequence. The most natural place to begin is with small groups, such as family, friends, colleagues, or community spaces at your workplace. This gives you the chance to build confidence, find your teaching voice, and understand how people respond to the sequence in a real setting.

As you continue teaching, you’ll slowly expand your skills, including learning how to adapt the sequence, vary it for different bodies, and eventually create your own flows.

Your ability to teach in yoga studios — or even open your own space — will depend on:
• your commitment to continued learning and refinement
• your previous movement or yoga experience
• how comfortable and confident you feel leading groups

How much does the training cost?

The full weekend training is $995.

Where is the training held?

The training takes place at Thrive Retreats in Colo Heights, NSW — surrounded by nature, silence, fresh air, and a warm, supportive environment.

What makes Thrive Flow different?

Thrive Flow strips away the unnecessary. There are no fancy poses, no spiritual jargon, no hierarchy, and no pressure to perform. It’s built on breath, movement, connection, confidence, and community. Everyone can learn. Everyone can teach. Everyone can flow.
